Aledo ISD announces the hiring of two new assistant principals in the district, at McAnally Middle School and Annetta Elementary.

“We are excited to be adding two great leaders to our Bearcat Leadership Team,” Aledo ISD Superintendent Dr. Susan Bohn said. “Both are committed to instructional excellence and community connections. We cannot wait to see the impact they make on our Bearcats at McAnally Middle School and Annetta Elementary.”

David Maddox will be an assistant principal at McAnally Middle School. He has been an educator in Crowley ISD for 13 years as an English-Language Arts teacher and football, track and soccer coach at Richard Allie Middle School and HF Stevens Middle School. Maddox has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a master of education in educational leadership from Tarleton State University.

“I’m incredibly excited to join McAnally and Aledo ISD,” Maddox said. “Joining a team this accomplished and dedicated is a tremendous opportunity, and I’m committed to supporting students, staff and families with all of my energy.”

Kristin Bundy will be the assistant principal at Annetta Elementary. She has been an assistant principal at Miller (Elementary) Language Academy for the past year, and she has served at both Miller and Collins Middle School since March. Bundy was an instructional coach at Miller Language Academy last school year. Prior to that, Bundy was a teacher and assistant principal intern at Tannahill Intermediate in White Settlement ISD for seven years. She has a bachelor’s degree from Lubbock Christian University and a master of arts in reading from Grand Canyon University.

“I am excited and honored to join the incredible team at Annetta Elementary,” Bundy said. “I am ready to lead, support and learn alongside this incredible group of educators, students, parents and community members.”
